Will you ever be looking at it from the side? Or mostly front?

Because if only front, you could do some epic LED effects like that.

I assume there are fans in the front, you could make a mesh or stepped portion or baffle with a small gap to still allow for airflow.

I will put a 200mm fan in the front to suck out the hot air. I have tried the mesh and it is insanely hard to make.

What are your plan for mounting the mesh you could create a bezel around the two edges and have it so the mesh bolts into place. For a baffle I was thinking you could create a recessed edge all one for each side the case portion and front plate with one of the offset to still allow airflow into the front but no direct line of sight to anything.

well my plan was just to have a small edge on each side of the mesh I could glue to the case. The problem is just that the edge is round, not just sharp, so it is a lot harder to get the bend right and I don't have the best tools :D . I have been thinking of making a lot of small bars that would be as wide as the gap, but that also feels kinda meh.

Yeah similar idea :D, well that would work using short sections as you wouldn't have to worry about bending the radius on the corners, only concern is without support or something for it to rest against it might require a bit of playing around to get the mesh to follow that curve perfectly. If you have the mesh recessed a bit so it's not flush to the two panels might be a little easier as you have some room for error. I assume you plan to bolt this mesh into place?

well it is a alu case so it is easy to fuck up, so I am not sure about what I want to do with mounting them.

Is the front solid aluminum I was thinking maybe using some very short screws to bolt those support bars into place but if it's very thin, a bit less conventional but you could use UHB tape (3M), which is just a very stick double sided tape that doesn't easily let go, no fear of accidentally drilling through or messing up the aluminum.

I was thinking more on the lines of very fine honeycomb mesh as It might be a little hard to mount that into place, Maybe if you sandwich the mesh between the support bar on the back and a top plate but I'm not too sure how well that would clamp the mesh into place.
