the 212 evo is a very good performer for its price. As for testing, realbench and intel burn test/linpack are both heavy hitters but not quite as bad as P95. I don't recommend P95 because it's way over the top extreme. Aida 64 is more realistic for a heavy load, but I prefer ibt/linpack as it's not quite as hard as realbench, but definitely harder than any game.

Hm alright. I see what you're saying. I think I'll keep it at stock until I do a lot more research myself anyway. Thanks for the help!

Here's a little bit to get you started, both have lists of good stress test programs and lots of info  :D   http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/7481/tweaktowns-ultimate-intel-skylake-overclocking-guide/index.html   http://www.overclock.net/t/1570313/skylake-overclocking-guide-with-statistics    also your board should have a 1-click OC feature, gets you a decent OC, but turns the voltage up higher than needed, but if you find manual OCing a chore it's an option, just dial the voltage back a bit and you're set
