Tips for choosing parts

I am soon planning to build a pc, I have a fair experince with troubleshooting and building them but when it comes to choosing parts for personal builds I have a hard time deciding and am new to most of the technical term.

Any advice or tips will be  helpful.

Give us your budget and someone will make you a build and then somebody improves it here and then you have a part list.

Also give us what you want to do with the system. Do you want to play the latest DX12 titles at Max settings at 4K or are you looking for a more basic system for everyday computing.

Budget I haven't decided but I may be willing to spend up to $2000, and I will probably use the system for programming, running cad programs, networking stuff and I don't play online games
