Battlefield 4 GPU Overclocked

b1969
Go to solution Solved by ARikozuM,

Try to disable Origin for in-game in the settings.

Has anyone managed to play the game with an overclocked GPU(s)? Even with a slight overclock on my 970s my game either crashed or BSOD.

Maybe I've missed a setting in game or in the Nvidia control panel that would allow my overclocked GPU.

If you are wondering. All of my drivers are up to date. My CPU is overclocked (4790k @ 4.6ghz). Moreover, I know that it is rock solid since I've stress tested it before.

What I don't understand is that my overclocked 970s is stable in Heaven (12hrs) and Valley (12hrs) all maxed setting etc.

If it was the other way around wherein Battlefield it was stable and in stress tests it wasn't, then I would totally get it.

Thanks for the help.

780ti running at 1228mhz. Runs just fine for me. Bf4 and battlelog are dumb for overclocks, its just random chance.

Wow, I think this actually worked. I manage to play 5 matches without any crashes.

Hopefully, this is consistent and is not one of those "random chance."
