V-sync is one of those things that you have to decide on yourself. Do you prefer no screen tearing with slightly higher input lag and some frame drops, or do you want the higher FPS and lower lag but living with screen tearing?

Just outta curiosity, what framerates are you getting with v-sync disabled?

70-85 but i have a 60hz monitor

Vsync gives the most consistent gaming experience as long as your GPU can render more than 60fps, only a small percentage of people pick up on input lag with it on.

personally i prefer vsync on @75hz, but 60hz is perfectly good too.

Enabling Vsync also lowers the amount of frames your card renders to the sync it with the monitors refresh rate. this has the advantage of lower temps and less noise from the graphics card.
