That was EKWB's old D5 combo unit currently it's been replaced with their new Model:

Do you know if there are any pump/res combos with similar much "wholes"?

EKWB was the only one that really had that kind of patterning you might be able to still get that res/pump unit with the D5 pump with remaining stock from retailers.

 I mean openings for tubing inputs and outputs and fillports.

Oh you mean the ports in the top, that is a multiport cap for the X3 res units:
