does it matter to which DVI port i plug in?

Depends there it is DVI single link or DVI dual link, one allows a res above 1080p one doesn't, among other differences like does it accept analogue..or only digital etc etc

 

 

Assuming you are using the monitor in your sig, then any DVI port will work, just get one which fits in your monitor ;p
