hey guys not sure if this should be in general but didnt know where else to put it. Anyways in computers we can have like "better" cpus which overclock more than others of the same kind and what not but with phones can this be the case with batteries or not. I hear alot about the htc one battery being like okay for all day use but find mine will last up to around 36 hours with alot of social networking, youtube here and there etc. Yeh so to sum this up can batteries be different than others of the same type (not including batteries wearing down after a while)

CPU: i5 4670k with Noctua C12P-SE14 GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 SSD: 250gb Samsung EVO MOBO: MSI Z87-G43 RAM: 8GB G-Skill 1600mhz PSU: Antec HCG 620W CASE: Corsair 300R windowed

Moto x and nexus 4 both have same capacity batteries (2300 mah) but the Moto x has the best battery life because they know how to make long lasting batteries

There are 10 types of people in this world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Yes, the type of batteries used in phones do vary in performance from unit to unit.  For example some batteries can charge to a higher capacity than others, some discharge more efficiently.  Luck of the draw really ;)  but the difference should not be large.
