lol, maybe I should put a /s disclaimer in there because yeah I meant for it to be sarcastic. I know OCs on GPUs are important

The 1060 costs more than the 480. Still the 1060 costs more, can't say that it's hardly worth it.

Also Nvidia is a terrible company they don't play fairly with AMD and take some pretty anti-competitive measures.

looking at European prices the 6gb gtx 1060 and the 8gb rx480 are already pretty much the same in price

In the US the 480 will likely be cheaper still.

Well in OPs case I don't know when they're going be buying but in my case I a.) don't like way the 1060 AIB cards look and b.) they're going to cost more than a 4GB RX 480. I'll be buying around October or November.

Watch the video by Kyle at Awesomesaucenetwork. He gives the full rundown.

How does it fail at 1080p though? The card can do ultra 1440p 40fps

VR, the RX 480 is not a VR ready card. It can play some VR games, but not all of them. That's not what Radeon claimed, they claimed it could handle VR in general.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
