Windows install help

Go to solution Solved by Altecice,

When your in the Windows Install press Shift+F10 (may be ctrl+F10) to bring up a command prompt, type in the following;

Diskpart

List disk

select disk # (whatever the SSD array is)

clean

close the command window and refresh the page and you should be able to installl now.

I had windows installed on a 500gb ssd for a while, and I decided to add another 500gb ssd and set it to raid 0. Now, windows is not reinstalling. It isn't let me choose a disk to install it into. Here is the error window-

It's telling you what's wrong. You formatted the drive as with the MBR partition table, when you should've used the GUID partition table (GPT) as that is what it wants. You have to reformat your RAID disks with the GUID partition table.

Thanks so much! I knew it had to do with how it was formatted, but I wasn't sure how to format from withen windows installed, disk part didn't even occur to me.
