I was installing a CPU cooler in my rig and when I put the side panel back on, it wouldn't fit! Then I realized the fan could go on the outside. "If it's stupid but it works then it's not stupid." Because it turned out to be rather cool. My case is an Antec P-190 BTW.

I later added gauze (it will sit under my desk) so I don't stick my toes in on accident.

Edit: For any who are wondering the case came with the two PSUs. (One 650 and a 550)

Do you really need dual PSU's? Also it's whatever, I'd recommend getting a 200mm fan grill to put on it so that you don't stick a finger or toe in it on accident.

Dual PSUs are both hooked up, gives me a lot of headroom though if I want to do SLI or something. As for the grill, gauze works too.

If it works... I personally would not do something like that as I think its looks Gaudy and ghetto.

My main concern is the 2 PSUs god damn, no need for two when you can get something like a Corsair RM750x and have less cables around.

I'm voting dumb, but only because I've done something similar.

I took the time to disassemble the connectors and feed them through the side panel so that they wouldn't show.

It did absolutely nothing. Turns out trying to shove air through little tiny holes is incredibly inefficient.

Read the whole post. I put gauze on.

Didn't recognize the word :P Anyway, do you need it? My experiments show that it only effects on GPU temps by about 3C (tested windowed, mesh, fan). Another thing is cables. Could you run them through mesh to make it look more clean? That could mean that it needs to be exhaust too, but side fans are most of the time better as exhaust.

I could run it through, but I really can't be bothered. It sits under a desk most of the time, and is not too bad (in my opinion) anyway.
