I was wondering how difficult it is to change the tubing on an AIO.

also, are there any AIO's available in the US that support tubing replacements? (H220-like?)

Im asking because it would be half the cost to change tubing and go with an AIO then build a custom loop.

if i go the AIO route i can also afford a second GPU.

thanks guy,

John

Pesonally I wouldn't bother. Changing the tubing is one thing, but refilling is a pain. You could try and import a H220/H320 from Canada, atleast that supports changing the tubing.

And why would you want to change the tubing in the first place?

An AIO tubing wont reach my mounting spot.

many have replaced the tubing on H100 and likes for length and look. just that

any warranty might be zero due to it.. and with the plagued issues with these

mass-produced solutions, you might need that warranty.

Id love to change the tubing on my h100 for asthetics but i dont want to void the warranty.

thats what im worried about is the warranty.

i know many of these AIO's have issues. Pump noise is another factor when looking at some solutions.

It'll cost me around $200 to import the H220 and change the tubing which is a little more than half the cost of a custom loop.

i'd bite the bullet and splurge for a small custom 240 loop.

XSPC RS240 radiator, XSPC D5 bayres, XSPC Raystorm tubing and fittings/barbs.

not busting Swiftech, but importing a problematic issue for more plus shipping is not

spend-thrifty.

I found an H220 in the NCIX Us store for $130. I dint know how they're getting around the ban but oh well :D

I'll probably buy one tonight and grab another 7970.
