How can i check what wifi standart my android uses?

Good Morning. I switched from a htc one m7 to a honor 7 cause i didn't want to spend 700 bucks for a new high end phone. Now in the datasheet bough of them have ac wlan support. But my HTC one gets about 350 Mbit/s and my Honor is stuck at 110Mbit/s a meter from the router away(speedtest.net). On the wlan information the datarate is descricep as 423 at the htc one but at the honor 7 it is stuck at 180Mbit/s. Now this is the reason why i think it doesn't use AC wireless. I'm using a r7000 at a gbit fiber connection so the wifi is the bottleneck. How can i check this/May there be any fixes? Maybe only some channel support it? At my location are only 3 5 GHZ networks so this isn't the Problem.

Thank you for your Help

Yes i know that it supports but i think this isn't correct. Even on the honor side they say it but i get pretty low speeds for ac wifi. I just want to have a test to be sure it doesn't use ac so i can contact the support maybe it is a software problem:/

Remember that AC comes in a variety of speeds. Ive seen AC 600 Devices. So maybe the phone has a lower end wireless card in. Remember. With WiFi you have to cut the speeds in half, thats what you realistically can get. My guess is the phone has a crappier wireless chipset then your last phone.

AC5300[12] 1000[g] 2,166 + 2,166

This chart is from Wikipedia. Not all AC is created equal. You could have a bad ass router, but if your device has a lower end wireless installed then you get lower end speeds.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Ouh didn't realise that. On another side i found in the specs that  it has 1.3 gbits ac but if that is correct i can't guarante i guess i need to ask the support.
