Global FPS lock

Hello, so recently I was doing some investigating and I noticed that all of my games run at 60fps, I disabled the target frame rate in the Crimson Control Panel and disabled Vsync within all my games, but despite that everything still renders at 60fps. I have already tried removing my drivers with DDU (twice in fact) and still no change. Any idea what could be happening? Specs in my signature.

First, is there a purpose for going beyond 60fps?  According to your sig, all your displays are 60Hz so going beyond 60fps is pointless.  Most games now-a-days have vsync as well as a frame limiter within the game that will override you crimson control panel settings.

I've never experienced that. Not on Grid 2. Not on TF2. Not on any of my games that don't have a hard FPS lock already in it.

You could have a limiter in your graphics control panel

Yes, I actually do. It's never capped at 60FPS on my TV or 144FPS on my brother's monitor.

Don't know what to tell you. If I use the overly it caps at my monitors hz, even with VSYNC disabled which I do anyway because of GSYNC. If I use another program to track fps it goes as high as my 980ti will push it.
