Yes, i even turned the computer on before putting the 960 in, and it worked fine, the psu is 600w btw.

600w is more then enough. My 350w was even enough for my 960.

So your pc is running fine without the graphics card but doesnt boot with it. That is very strange. I have no real idea how to solve the problem.

So you are stuck at the boot menu. I would recommend doing a cmos reset (bios reset. remove the bios battery for ~10s and remove the pcs power from the psu). Maybe there is a wrong setting in the bios

Do you have a second pcie slot? Maybe the slot is damaged or so. Was there a graphics card before there?

The 960 is quiet large. Does it push against other components?

no i dont have a second pci slot, and a while ago i had a $20 amd card in there, and i got a smaller 960, that is about the size of a 750, so it isnt pushing up against anything

I would try to disable the APU from your processor in the bios if you can enter it and the problem isnt solved. Maybe it causes trouble with your gpu.

some OPM manufactures don't implement that option in the BIOS i should know, i had the most stubborn desktop ever, for one it hated pci-cards with a passion meaning even if i had something as simple as a network card the pc would not boot, some people must be thinking well something is wrong with the computer, newsflash i had two, one for me one for my wife,

to sum it up some OPM manufactures are just dicks and don't alow modifications to their computers

****SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH IT'S REALLY TERRIBLE*****

Been married to my wife for 3 years now! Yay!
