ASUS PCE-N15, slow connection speeds with driver

Manchu

Recently I picked up an ASUS PCE-N15 to replace the old Netgear USB one I'd been using as a substitute. I plugged it into the second PCIe x16 slot on the motherboard (the card is a 1x) and it connected to the internet immediately, upon turning the PC back on. I went and downloaded the appropriate driver from ASUS's website and installed it. After installation I rebooted the PC and went to speedtest.net and ran a test. To my dismay, the speeds were only 20 down/20 up, as opposed to the 100+ down/and around 30 up I was getting before with the Netgear USB. I've tried everything I could think of from installing what I assume was the chipset's driver from Realtek's website (didn't work), installing a different driver from ASUS and the list goes on.

I'm on Windows 10 64-bit and the motherboard I'm using is an ASRock H97M-Pro4.

Thanks,
