Hi people.

I like the CPU block as its a great all in one.

I want to fit it with a 40mm radiator instead of the 240mm that is currently on it.

I was wondering if anyone has any guides on it maybe.

Cheers in advanced.

40mm radiator??? what? you know that will kill the cooling performance of your h100i and im not even sure you can get radiators that small unless you buy some el cheapo thing form ebay or ghetto mod something up by your self.

I have a Fractal Design Noded 202, want to explore a bit.

ok, but still, i dont think you should put that 2x40mm radiator on your h100i, all you are achieving with that is overheating issues and a broken warranty.

i think you litteraly just have to cut your hose somewhere, im giuessing the closer to the radiator the better.

Where can i get hosing, or fittings or something? Litterally never done this xD

if you want to change the tubing you either need to measure the outer diameter of your barbs and get tubing for them or cut them of and thread it for a common fitting threading size (3/8 or g1/4) and go with your choice of either compression fittings or regular barbed fittings.

g1/4 inch or 3/8 inch, it is standard for all watercooling gear to have threads measured in inches while tubing is measured in mm (that is atleast how its done outside the us)

Your going to need to cut the tubes off the original and use either that 40mm rad linked or get an aluminium one with the proper mixed metal fluids if you want to attempt this. As mentioned in watercooling G1/4 thread is standard so you would require a 3/8" barb, and G1/4 it's not imperial but BSSP (British Standard Straight Pipe Thread).
