I've used the manual it doesn't really help it just describes what a system front panel is it doesn't to tell me where to put them

See the figure labeled 'System Panel Header' on page 21? Those are your headers, I assumed they were pretty self explanatory, but let me know if you need help ;)

The power led for example, the positive wire goes on the PLED+ header (which is short for power LED positive).

HDLED+ = positive hard drive LED header, and so on.

Normally, each LED has 2 wires, one coloured (+) and one white (-, or GND). Usually, the coloured one is the +, but it's not a huge problem. If you plug it in and it doesn't work, just reverse the connector.

Normally, the power LED goes into P_LED and the drive activity light goes into HD_LED.

The power and reset switches are not normally polarized and can go in either way, even if + is marked.

Edit - in particular, for this mobo, the power LED goes into PLED+ and PLED-. The drive activity light goes into HDLED+ and HDLED-

Power switch to PWRBTN and GND. Reset switch to RESET and GND.

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.
