Ok so I'm building a super cheap gaming build and I need a super cheap power supply around 550watts. It needs to have 4pin 6pin and 8pin and a 24pin power connecter. please help

What I have right now is a core 2 quad q8200, asus raedeon hd5850, asus p5n-t mobo, 7gb of generic ddr2 ram

i only have $25 AUD

Used or New I DO NOT CARE

Go to ebay and your local forums to see what psu you can find. $25 AUD isn't enough for anything good new.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Agreed with the above—either buy a good quality used PSU, or take whatever time you need to save up a bit more money. The system above won't have enormously high power draw, but it's probably enough that some very cheap PSUs claiming 550 Watt output might struggle.

You're not gonna be able to get anything really good for that but maybe get a used Corsair CX430M or EVGA 500B/600B.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I dont know that brand, but for that wattage and price,it probably is a fake 80 plus and the real wattage is WAY below advertised.

You can find really good deals online sometimes. I got my Ax860 for less than an RM750x brand new

Needs money for car parts :P

Market with used PSUs is weird. They usually go for very cheap even though they are used but in great condition. I think it is cause there is little trust for used PSUs to be good so they sell for pennies. That said, there its also very few people that sell good used PSUs for that same reason as well because they don't want to waste money.

You will have to look hard but you will eventually find something.
