LG G4 Touch Screen Issues

I've had this phone for less than 3 weeks and it's inhibiting the very common touch screen issue where when you try to tap anything there is either a delay or no response. but in this case it seems to be a bit bigger than just a software issue. Reason being is when (and I know this sounds stupid but it is the only way i got the phone to work) i flex the phone a  bit it would immediately start working. Welp, this was a bad idea as now the digitizer is not detecting any touches now. Like said, I understand the stupidity but, i paid off the phone and no longer with the original carrier so my warranty is worthless. At this point I'm just fed up with phones. But back to my question. Because this issue points towards hardware, should I send my phone off to be repaired by a specialist? And if so, who?

Only touch issue I have had with mine was occasionally it would not respond while charging. Sucks though for you, it might at this point cost a pretty penny to replace the digitizer and screen.
