pc randomly shutting down

my computer(which i built myself)is randomly shutting down about 10 seconds after i turn it on and then about 3 seconds later it turns back on.

Do you have a raid setup? It might be starting the raid controller and then powering off/powering back on

I have a corsair cx750m power supply, a gigabyte Z170XP-SLI motherboard

I think the problem might be originating from the power supply. I don't have a raid setup

Try clearing cmos, could be a softwere problem. How old is your psu?

My psu is brand new

Is your psu facing up or down? What surface are you using? What case also

I have a coolermaster mastercase pro 5 and my psu is facing fan side down

On what surface? Is the fan spinning

the case is made of aluminium. the fan is spinning. everything is on, all the fans, all of the drives, but it just shuts off

On your motherboard, there is a battery, take it out and leave for 10 seconds, then place back in

Put the battery back in and start the pc to see if it will shut off again

Don't take apart your psu. You can try to check all your cables are plugged in properly

I checked and double checked. they were all plugged in properly

Take them out and plug in again

Switch it on again, if doesn't work, replace PSU
