is it all good, idk what GPU to get, i want a 970 it seems to be the best i can get for 250 or sub 300. im going to have green LEDs so thats why i went with a green GPU, otherwise i wanted it to be black/white

I'd go for a single 8GB memory stick and then add more if needed. :)

Also, you should consider a SSD for the boot drive as it would improve dramatically the loading/boot times and the overall responsiveness of your system.

Well I do have two 4gb ram sticks spare just they are red and I wanted them black. I also have 3 hard drives but I thought it would be nice to get one that's not 2 years old. My rig I'm getting rid of and down sizing to had an ASS but I'm selling it all. I'll use it for gaming and sticks and am that. Just my cuter t rig is slot of power I don't use -the GPU

WD Blue drives are quite reliable and should last quite long. HDDs are mechanical devices after all and failures do happen so I'd recommend to have your important data on multiple storage devices just to be on the safe side. :)
