I'm currently picking out the parts for my computer (full list here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/VQ9yXH ) and I was wondering if my h100i water cooler would properly cool my processor (Intel Core i7-5820k 3.3GHz 6-Core Processor). My processor has a tdp of 140W, and I wasn't sure whether or not my processor would overheat. Please respond as it will help me greatly!!

The Haswell-E CPUs have a 140 Watt TDP, but I don't think they're as hard to cool as you might expect unless you're going to push the overclock as far as it can go. I don't think you need anything close to an H100i to keep it safely cool at stock settings.

H100i is top notch AIO. It won't have any issues. Even normal 140mm single tower would be suitable.

I wouldn't call it top notch. It's alright but I avoid recommending it due to the pump noise.

The H100i GTX on the other hand is a nice update that I wouldn't mind recommending. It's also cheaper at $97 vs. $130 so I'm confused as to why the OP lists a h100i. http://pcpartpicker.com/product/MBmxFT/corsair-cpu-cooler-cw9060021ww

Without knowing much about AIO grades, I will say that any 240mm+ dual rad is top notch.

My summary of 240mm AIO's: They perform about as well as large heatsinks like the NH-D15 and sometimes even better but most of them aren't that quiet even with fan replacements due to the pump. The h100i GTX and Kraken line are my examples of good AIO's.

That part I know too. Which is why I call them top notch compared to 120mm ones, which are only good for very limited spaces. For price/performance anyway.
