Hi linus media group,

One of my dreams is for you to cover the incoming dota2 international event. This will happen

on august in Seattle. There are many fans of you here in the Philippines who wants you to cover

this event.

Thank you

LTT probably wont, they are not a gaming focused channel. Go ask a gming channel such as stampylongheads or pewdipie.......

they've never done gaming events, since it's not really tech :)

if they are super near an event they might stop by, for example meetups at CES or something like that (i doubt that will happen but it's very possible)

exactly, not unless Value introduces the latest tech on the market --  "Mikat's bouncing washing machine"

just one video about the event wont hurt T.T

It would. It would make regular videos harder to make, this is assuming they only send some of the team over to TI. They could just cram filming and editing of a bunch of videos before flying (or driving) the whole team over, but that's just too much unnecessary work and money in order to bring all these people to an event that most, if not all, of them don't really care.

These are just some of the problems with your suggestion, if we ignore the fact that LTT only covers tech and gadgets, not necessarily video games. They do sometimes go into common ground, but there's a clear different between both.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X            | Cooler: Deepcool AK400  | Motherboard: B550 Elite AX V2  | Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB  |

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB   | GPU: MSI RTX 3060 Ti    | Case: NZXT H440 (Red/Black)    | PSU: EVGA 650W G2             |

This could be done with 2 man crew. Like Luke and Dennis. Them the issues.

The whole event is fully focused on Dota 2. Which means that there aren't really interesting side events for non-dota viewers. Like what Quakecon would have. Its not worth to go all the way for just one video. It would be whole different thing if there was tech convention at the same time and they already had people on site.

Another thing is getting press pass for the event. I would think its already too late for regular youtuber. If they would have some broadcast company, Valve might budge.
