OnePlus One, Still a viable phone today? $200 CAD

Is a Oneplus One still viable for use today?  Is it a worthwhile upgrade from a iphone 4?  I'm not really knowledgeable regarding phone tech, as I never really cared, since my first phone was the iphone 4.  I'm not really a ultra power user, as long as it is snappy and capable at general tasks (snapchat, youtube, etc).  I don't plan on doing heavy gaming, just pokemon go.  Is the snapdragon 801 still viable for general use?

I would probably try and grab a phone that is only a single generation behind (LG G4, Xperia Z3) - they seem to do very well and can be at a low price second hand

CPU: I7 4790K(4.6@1.252v)                               Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Windowed(Black)           Cooler: CM 212 EVO + NF F12 iPPC

RAM: HyperX Fury 1600MHZ CL10 2x4GB      Storage: Samsung 850 EVO(250GB) + WD Red(2TB)      PSU: Corsair RM750 (and no, it hasn't blown up!)

MoBo: Asus Maximus VII Ranger                      Graphics: MSI GTX 970 TwinFrozr (1494MHZ Core)       OS: Windows 10 Enterprise

Yea.. maybe, but the used market is really out of whack in Canada.  LG g4 go for around 350 - 400, much more than I am willing to pay, especially when they are locked to carries I don't want to be with :(

It's still a capable device. You don't need the latest and greatest. Heck I still use a S3 as a daily driver.

In what context? You're going to have to back it up. If it's too slow, why would there still be a community making CyanogenMod and other custom ROMS for the S3 and S4 to this day?

So is 230 Canadian Pesos a good price for a lightly used one plus, with a extra case and three screen connectors along with all original packaging and accessories a good deal>?  If you don't know canadian currency, what would you pay in USD for the phone?

I did not realise that. The Xperias usually go for around what would be ~$300. The OPO is a good choice then, $200 CAD seems fairly cheap

I thought that was the point of android devices... continued software support by the community?  Ugh, I don't want to buy something that is already obsoleted, but I also don't have a bunch of money for a new mid tier or flagship phone....
