Hello! I have made a parts list for a gaming pc build, budget is a little over 600 US dollars, plan on playing Overwatch, GTA 5, Minecraft, Need For Speed Edge, Rocket League, No Mans Sky, and possibly Just Cause 3 are the most demanding things I plan on running, medium settings, 60fps on 1080p monitor. Can this build do that?

Build:

Power supply: Sentey XPP725-HS Xplus Power Supply 725w

Case: Rosewill Challenger S ATX Mid Tower Case

Motherboard: ASRock B150M Pro4S Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

CPU fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

GPU:  Radeon RX 480 graphics card

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8gb (1x4gb) DDR4-2133 Memory

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5” 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Tell me if any of these parts are bad or would slow my computer down. The last power supply Iooked at looked fine but some people said they bought it and it lit on fire so... Gonna stay away from that for now.

Hey there :)

A few notes from me:

You don't really need the aftermarket CPU cooler as both the CPU and the motherboard don't really allow overclocking, unless you specifically want to have one for noise or aesthetic purposes.

Did you mean 2x4GB or 1x4GB? For a gaming PC I would recommend going for a single 8GB stick and then add more if needed as this would be a more budget-friendly option compared to 2x4GB and you shouldn't notice any performance issues.

WD Blue is a great drive for this purpose. I would also recommend having a SSD as a boot drive as it improves dramatically the responsiveness of the whole system. Have in mind that gaming doesn't rely on the storage's performance for anything else but the loading times. Games such as MMOs and Open World may have their surrounding textures load faster or smoother but that won't affect their quality nor the FPS.

Post back if you have any questions :)

If your not ocing you don't need a better cooler than stock. Look at the evga 500w.

EVGA 500 B1 80+ BRONZE, 500W Continuous Power?  Theres more than one 500w. And I still want a cooler master because better cooled cpu is STILL A GOOD THING.

CPU cooler is because a better cooled CPU might extend its lifetime, and I don't need it getting hot at all. Well Woops! I meant 1x8 ram lol. That's what I thought for it so I can upgrade. I also have an SSD but keep forgetting to say such in my posts.

A stock CPU cooler should be able to keep the CPU well within the recommended operational temperatures for an optimal life unless you do OCing or some extensive workloads that would keep it under 100% load for an extensive amount of time.

A tip fro me: if you are reusing that SSD I would strongly suggest to first verify the drive's health before trusting your data to it from the new computer. Checking the drive with a tool from the manufacturer should give you the answer to that. Also, checking the raw values of the S.M.A.R.T. status can give you more detailed information. If you are not sure how to read it feel free to post it here. :)

Its not being reused, due to my computer not supporting a SATA cable. And I call GTA and JC3 a heavy workload.

Games aren't a heavy cpu workload like rendering video. Just use the stock cooler. Save a few bucks. Running cooler won't help anything and the hyper 212 will make the vrms and ram run hotter.

Indeed, these games are demanding but not specifically CPU intensive so a stock cooler should be sufficient enough. :) You can always get a custom one if you are not happy from the performance.

Could you elaborate more on the SSD part? What do you mean when you pointed out that your computer doesn't support a SATA cable and you are not using your SSD?

Me and my dad bought a 128 gb SSD but my computer doesn't support a sata cable, so its sitting in a box right now.
