So i bought new pc few months ago and i mostly played cs:go until now, but now i started playing some more intense games (NFS, Witcher 3) and when i play i have random fps drops from around 30-40 to 0 so game freezes for 2-3 seconds and then goes back as it was but it's really annoying and makes game unplayable. I don't know what is causing this so i need help (It's happening in both games). And usually i have around 150 fps in cs:go but it happens sometime that my fps goes down to 50 and it stays there like it's capped.

GPU: Gigabyte R7 360 OC
CPU: Intel Pentium G3260
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB

No need to spam the website with your question. What is your HDD,CPU cooler, Is your cpu overclocked, and its more than likely freezing due to your cpu not being able to hold up to witcher 3

consistent freezes shouldn't really happen unless you are running the game on unrealistic settings for that machine.

 

i would suggest taking a look at the power state of the CPU and if you could open afterburner and play witcher for 10min - then take a picture of the graphs and post them here so we can see whats going on
