Need Help on trandfering games....

I am backing up files to put on my new computer.  I have Battlefield 3 and 4 Beta.  I don't know how to back these up onto a thumb drive.  Do i need to do this? Or, if I just install the Origin client on my new computer and log in, are my settings/ rankings saved in EA;s cloud?
