What Tech Companies Do You Like The Most?

shawn_the_cow

New to the community and after seeing the thread "tech companies we dislike the most" I am curious to see everyones opinions.

As soon as i start to like a company they tend to go onto huge success then they're acquired by a soulless corporation,  they start selling out and i look at them no differently than any other company. So far as game studios go i love Naughty Dog and Rockstar but Rockstar is really pissing me off lately with their focus on GTA Online and cash card sales.

I like Corsair and Razer for keyboards, headsets, and mice. I like Nvidia for GFX Cards and Intel for CPUs. I also can recommend Gigabyte for motherboards.

I don't really like companies more than others but I tend to like AMD Radeon more than NVidia but I'll buy an NVidia card if it has better price-performance. I also stand by ASRock as a lot of people tend to stay away from it just because it's a smaller company.

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X | MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus | 16GB Team T-Force 3400MHz | Zotac GTX 1080 AMP EXTREME

When it comes down to it, what companies you like, and which you don't like its personal opinion and experience.  Personally I prefer ASUS, when they provide the products.  Motherboards, SSD's and Video cards from ASUS normally (But not always) have higher quality control, and if its an older type of product, they've especially learned from any mistakes and missteps they've made in the past and improve it in the next model/generation.  Again, for some people with the NVIDIA-AMD, and Intel-AMD war, its about experience/flavor, though personally, it falls to your price/quality preference.  If you want more budget products, go with AMD.  If you want performance and are willing to pay for it, go with Intel/NVIDIA.  Though NVIDIA is really pulling ahead with the 10 series, I'm personally not sure if AMD will ever catch up.  I feel like they've resigned to being the budget company for the most part, though theirs nothing wrong with that.

On another note, Intel has utterly confused me with this "We're not a tech company" tomfoolery.

I am writing to you... from SPACE!  I live in the middle of nowhere Northern California, and have Starlink.

I wouldn't use the word "like", rather I would use the word "trust" because I rank brands based on my past experience with them. So...

ASUS, Lenovo, and Dell are pretty much the only brands I trust for OEM systems. ASUS and MSI for motherboards. Kingston for RAM. Kingston, Sandisk, and Sony for flash memory. The list could go on.

Brands that have failed me more than twice in quick succession is what I would consider brands I don't "like" or don't "trust". Ahem Corsair and Apple.

I have lots of Logitech peripherals that have never failed, and are all nice for what they cost, so I guess I trust their product quality.

Same with Corsair, although I haven't bought as many products from them.
