Looking for a new router

I have a friend looking for a new router in the $150-200 range what would you guys suggest in that price range?

I would recommend the TP-Link Archer C7. Has two USB for sharing files as if it were a NAS, two bands, and it's AC-wireless.

I think NewEgg has it for the cheapest but I would search around if I were you.

the asus rt-ac68u should be right in that price bracket.

 

i'd be using that one right now if it wasnt for a series of very unfortunate DOA's.

- AC wifi

- an actually very pleasing UI

- USB

- built in VPN (both a client for when you want your entire house behind for example tunnelbear, and a server in case you want to remote into your home network)
