Hey guys,

I have a Raspberry Pi connected to my speakers running Musicbox and i'm currently using my third monitor to display what's currently playing.msucixbow.PNG looks like this

I want a much smaller monitor to display this as in most cases I don't really care what's playing. Does anyone here know of a decent 3-7" monitor that I can connect with DVI,HDMI or DP?

Thanks a lot!

You could get a 12v dc power supply, and a cheapo chinese display meant to be used in cars, but that would only be composite. But you said decent so.

Eh, only has to be good enough for me to read what song is currently playing. I looked into those car displays but they seem all seem to be composite and I need a digital input.

Does the pi not have an 3.5mm a/v connector on it?

I'm not going to be using the Pi for the display, I will either be connecting my PC to the monitor or an old OEM lenovo machine I've got lying around. Also when the Pi is running Musicbox it just looks like CMD not like the interface I use to control it.

o lol. What about something like an 8600 gts with an s video to composite cable?

EDIT: In the lenovo machine, I mean. Or some cheapo low power cpu.

It's an idea, but I'd prefer using my main PC.

Couldn't you just stick the 8600 in your main pc? Drivers and stuff, but it would give you the output.

Or buy another Pi and use that.

Or a little soc plus 8600 like this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157594

I could plug the 8600 in my machine but I don't really like the idea of an 8600 lying under my 980Ti, great suggestion though. Another Pi sounds like the way to go, weird I didn't think about that in the first place....
