IMO it's only worth it if you play a lot of racing games or if it will make you more efficient when doing work. The performance drop with that high of a resolution isn't worth it in most games.

Ah i miss having surround sometimes, but i kinda like portrait more, but 3x 27 is a tad small for portrait maybe if i had 5 it would work better.

I can't wait for Oculus Rift. I'll probably switch completely over from surround for racing and flight games.

Yep Grid 1. I haven't played Grid 2 yet and I don't really plan to cause I've been told it's more arcade than the first and the first is already too arcade for me.
