noob needs help

i have tought upgrading my pc next spring and im thinking of already upgrading my graphics card and everything else will wait. so the real question is will my intel core i5-4460 4 core 3.2Gh CPU be a horrible bottleneck and will i get any noticeable improvement if i upgrade to a GTX 1070, i have a GTX 770 at the time of writing. also will the 8GB of DDR3 RAM be in the way. i play games at 1080x1920 and have a 144hz screen. so what do you all think, will i get some value for my money in advance or should i wait until i upgrade most of the computer

An i5 4460 will NOT bottleneck a 1070. CPU and RAM are good- stick with what you have.

Your i5 should be able to handle a 1070 just fine. a 1070 would be a seriously massive improvement over a 770.

 

A 1070 will dominate anything you throw at it in 1080p at any graphical setting you want. I would highly recommend doing this if you're looking to get some serious bang for your buck out of your investment
