GTA V controller

Hello everybody, so I bought a controller and I want to play GTA V with it, but I can't, it just doesn't work. So I read more about and found out that you need xbox 360 controller.... So i'm very sad. But does anyone else know how to make it work, like make it to look like it's xbox 360 controller? Please help me, I want play GTA V with a controller.

What controller did you buy?

The DS3Tool could work. it will allow for mapping of the buttons.
