If all you're doing is internet browsing and watching tv/movies, then a prebuilt is all you need. trying to build that new out of custom components, even very cheap custom components, isn't really possible. and if you could do it, it wouldn't be any better than what you could get out of said prebuilts.

for 220 bucks? If its just for personal viewing, get a tablet or something. Just head down to your local best buy or whatever you have and see what they have to offer for 220 and what you can get. I'm honestly not sure what is available for prebuilt mini PC's nowadays, I've never really looked at them. Or go to newegg or amazon or something, set in your price and look at computers. see what you can get for 220. at a glance I'm seeing mostly refurbished things, but refurbished isn't bad or anything.

Yes. You can buy incredibly small PC's (some the size of a VHS cassette, or even smaller) on Amazon and Newegg. go to their computer prebuilt sections and just filter for mini PC or whatever form factor you want.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883796001 plus some extra ram and storage would also work well.
