Do you need compression fittings to secure angled fittings?

Hey guys! So I have built multiple computers with AIO liquid coolers blah blah blah. But I'm about to make my first custom liquid cooled build. I'm going to be using PETG and I will be using angled 90 degree fittings. I'm a big noob and I'm sorry to ask such a weird question, but do you need to put a compression fitting to secure the tube in the angled fitting? It's a question that's been on my mind from seeing this one fitting from bitspower. Thanks for your time!

they are making 90° PETG compression fittings but in a limited size/finish.

otherwise, purchase a 90° fitting male/female adapter and attach the normal compression fitting to the adapter.

Can I get a female/female one so I don't need to purchase a compression fitting? Really lookin' to save as much money as possible when it comes to cooling so I can focus more on the main parts.

It depends where and how it's going to be put in the loop.
