That's a shame... Which Silverstone cases do you mean?

The silverstone RV-02 would be similar to the wall mount designs but more so as a standalone tower, the clear mesh panels are a bit of a in between visual looks and cooling.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a case that has vertical GPU mounting, like the Lian Li PC-O5 or 6, just not so expensive.

My budget is around 100USD, although for something really nice I'm willing to spend a little more

Edit:  Also, I'm looking for something compact as I'll have to carry this overseas with a lot of luggage

Air 240 or 540

Did that wrong, though you were talking about PSUs, sorry. As someone else mentioned the Core V21 has what you're looking for

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Neither or those has vertical GPU mounting they are cube cases. (they do have vertical CPU mount when you turn them sideways though.

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.91 GHz RAM: G.Skill 4x4GB 2133Mhz DDR3 GPU: AMD HD 7970 3GB SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB PSU: Corsair HX620W  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass (Black) Monitor: Dell P2412H, Dell 2012H Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Classic Mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy HDD: WD Black 3TB

That looks amazing, though its a bit excessive for me. I was looking for something compact and not open air, but thanks for the input!

ThermalTake Core V21, it's a cube but the mobo is horizontal.

Read that as PSU, sorry about that.

The deepcool Genome has a vertical mounting option in a more traditional atx form factor:

Yes it does, but I was hoping for something a little smaller.

Sidenote: the cooler they use looks sick

As of right now there aren't too many options other than modding a case to accommodate for it as many of the previous ones only had single slots or are the wall mounted styled ones from Lian-Li or Silverstone.

You're going to have to go Mini ITX if you want something much smaller than the Core V21. The Core V1 has the same basic design, and it costs about the same.

If you're taking the PC overseas, what about the Fractal Node 202? It's small and fits the GPU in such a way that the motherboard isn't stressed by it in transit.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

That's a shame... Which Silverstone cases do you mean?

I just checked out the Node 202 and I can't really visualize it in my head. Is the GPU's face (fan side) facing the opposite side of the motherboard?

If it faces the same direction I think I can just put two acrylic panels on it to show off the inside and I'll have hit the jackpot

That is pretty much exactly the case I was looking for.

Thank you
