i can argue for grey units if you want :)

there have been some solid grey PSU's in the past...silverstone has made excellent grey painted powersupplies for the longest time...and corsair is pushing out those chineese bottom of the stack black units these days as well :P

i wouldnt grade PSU by color...personally. ;)

Yeah, perfectly aware of that. But to most, the PSU is a magic box that provides their computer with power. And unfortunately, the quality of those magic boxes in prebuilts are usually far from decent.
