GPU was 180 GBP, making it 746 GBP.

Hi guys,

Ive been a console gamer for a good 6 years now and PC gaming has caught my eye. I have an old Desktop lying around so opened her up and found a foxconn n15235 motherboard inside.

Could anyone recommend a new CPU, Graphics card for my PC as I would like to turn it into a gaming PC.

Thanks

Anthony37423 :)

First, doing you own research is always better then just asking for a build online.

Now, to provide help we would need your budget and what kinda games you intend on playing? AAA games do not have the same requirements as moba and lols

Also, what's the model of the desktop you have? We'll need more specs then just the mobo

I thought that would be the case. If i need to i might just buy everything and build it myself. To "try" and improve the PC above I think i'll add some more RAM and might buy a new CPU

This is a guideline to start. Rounds off at 700 GBP. If others want to optimize this rig, go ahead. I don't have time right now.

Building from scratch is easy, seriouly

and no point, sell it for £50 and use that towards your pc, or give it parents/siblings/friends

This rig needs some changes IMO. Maybe a better SSD? Either way, use that as a solid guideline for your build. I have both the CPU and Motherboard in my rig and they work without a hitch.

use the Uk part picker, currency conversion is a BAD idea normally

and NEVER recommend the V300 now, that SSD a no no, for £50 you can get a 240gb Crucial BX200 or something

buts its a good start otherwise! and would fit perfectly in budget
