Pc upgrade

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my asus g20BM gpu to a nvidia 1070. Atm I have a amd a10 7700 cpu and 8gb RAM, what cpu and RAM would be best suited (am3+ cpu) also I have 210w and 180w power supply

The best CPU you can get is a FX 9590 which is not worth it just get a FX 8350 or 8370 and overclock it a little

An Intel Core i5/i7 CPU. AMD hasn't really got anything on AM3+ or FM2 that wouldn't bottleneck a GTX 1070.

 

EDIT: If you REALLY want to stay on AM3+, FX 8350/9590 would be okay.

one you posted this twice, and two allthough you might not like to hear it there are no good am3 cpus, your in luck though, as it turns out you can usualy get a used 2600k and motherboard combo of ebay or this forums classifieds for 225-250 and it usually also comes with either ram or a cpu cooler, this is definitly the best option

Given that Every single AM3+ CPU bottleneck a GTX 1080, so a FX-9590
