your Board and CPU are compatible. You will not be able to overclock your CPU. Get a Z170 board if you want to overclock, or get a i5 6600 or i5 6500 if you do not want to overclock. Its a waste of money on the CPU if you get a k series CPU and a non-overclocking board.

Also, chipset can be other things than just overclocking. Chipsets can often decide whether or not you get SLI support, crossfire support, PCIE speeds, connectivity, Raid support, and a whole slough of other things. Chipset is EXTREMELY important for some people. although for alot of normal people/users, they wont notice the difference between a H170, H110, and B150
