Edit profile closing unexpectedly

Nitroblast

When I open profile, then go to edit profile and then signature - if I highlight the entire text and my cursor goes off the pop-up window and I then let go of my mouse click, the pop-up closes.

Just seems like a small bug.

thats because a button depress is what registers a click

and the windows is designed to close when you click outside of it

so dont move your cursor off a window if your button is pressed down

this is not a bug, this is how computers work

I understand what you're saying, but when I'm highlighting things with my cursor I do it fairly fast so it just closes without me realizing what happened at first.

then you need some better mouse control, maybe turn your dpi down a bit, or practice not swinging your mouse across the screen to highlight a sentence

My mouse is probably gonna slip off even if I did adjust the DPI if I don't think about it twice. There's probably an easy fix, for example Google doesn't have this:

Just thought I might point it out as a slight user interface flaw.

Yeah, we're aware of the issue, and it was reported to the forum software devs months ago, but remains unfixed.

oh ok

i guess it checks if first presses off the windows

i dont think they would be able to change that on the forum themselves though, thats a problem with ipboard
