I dont know the dis advantages to intel i7 skylake plz can someone help im making my first build.

if you are just using it for gaming an i5 would be a better option as the i7 is way more expensive with little benefit. if you are video editing or something like that then get the i7

nothing imo.

they are decent performing chips through the bank, but especially the x99 lineup is insanely overpriced.

for gaming, there isn't anything better out there at the moment.

it is worth if you doing multitasking like video editing, but as the 6700k is just a small amount higher priced, it is worth going with the overclockable chip.

if you are only gaming, the 6600k is your best decision in terms of performance per dollar

and if you have the budget, just go for 6700k and z170 motherboard.

i have  a motherboard in mind that is 2011 3 so what should i get without budget best possible

what's your budget, what are you planning to do?

if you plan on socket 2011-v3, a 6700k wouldn't fit because it's socket 1151.

and use case?

for normal use without heavy video editing or rendering, you are fine with a 6700k, z170, gtx 1080 non founders and decent components, everything else is waste of money

i want to be able to video render and play video games at max settings at the same time hope fully this gives a better shape
