So, I have new card and it features HDMI which allow minor phone screen and acts a GPS but i was wondering which type of cables should i get? Similar to this in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJySrwmp518). This should work with any android(4.4.4) phone right?

its called MHL and your phone needs to support it (most samsung ones do). but you cant use your phone as a screen, its the other way around like in the video.

Would a Slimport Micro USB to HDMI be more supported by phones such as Nexus5/x and M812C

no its the MHL protocoll that needs to be supported. just google the phones on gsmarea there you can see if they support it or not.

Take a step back, man. You're only thinking about the mechanics of it all. The micro-USB to HDMI thing isn't just a dumb adapter. It's called Mobile High-Definition Link or "MHL" and requires software support. Not all devices have it even though all devices have the micro-USB. You need to find out if your device supports MHL. The HDMI end of the rig is standard HDMI so if the receiving device has standard HDMI, it'll support it.
