display problem

hey guys so i have a lcd monitor and it takes 5 min to sometimes one hour to star up and the light keeps on blinking between red and green and once i restart the monitor it start immediately. it my monitor spoiled or my graphic card. please help

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that you have dead or dying capacitors in the power delivery for your monitor.

i think its broken, if you buy a new one, i suggest buying an korean 1440p monitor.

scout around for a second hand Dell u2312hm, top monitor. ips and crazy low input lag

 

can be had for 165 on sale new in aus, not sure what they go for in other countries.
