hello, my problem seems to be my computer just seems to be unresponsive whenever its in idle or simple tasks [browsing internet] (no hdd activity even though im trying to open browsers and apps, google chrome unresponive,)and i have to reset the computer 

it started after 3 months i built my pc

i've already scanned my pc for viruses/malware (avira)

OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)

cpu: intel i3-6100 @ 3.70 Ghz (stock) gpu: Sapphire Nitro OC R9 380 4GB motherboard: Gigabyte H110M-DS2-CF

Case: NZXT S340 (glossy black) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 @ 2133 Mhz Storage: WD 1TB hard drive PSU: Seasonic S12II 520W

I'm banking on it being memory or storage device.  Run a memcheck and a diskcheck.

This is not true at all.  NTFS is really good at getting by with broken clusters.

When I had corrupted files of some software, I would get error messages about file damage. He doesn't seem to get a response at all. So I wonder how accurate your statement is.

 

Try HD-tune to check your HDD, or use CHKDSK, build into all windows versions. Use g00gle to get more instructions i'd say. But I doubt that this is the problem...
