Now the reason why i dont have a video card in the build and a case is because i cant decide.

At first i had a Gigabyte GTX 980Ti but then came the GTX 1080 with some apealing prices, so im undiceded which 1080 i want (im going for somewhat black and white build, the ram should be white too i was lazy putting it in the list) i was thinking about getting the Gigabyte one just becasue its more black and only has a little bit of orange.

Now the case at first i chose a Cooler Master 690 III ATX Mid Tower Case but then i figured it was a bit old, so i want a case that looks good and has a side window, I was thinking about the coller master master case 5 but i dont know if its the right choice.

Hopefully you guys can help me and give me some advice.

Thanks!

Well your hardware seems just fine.

About case ... well that's subjective.

Just pick the one, that looks the best to you :) But keep in mind that you need to fit 240mm rad in there. Most of the cases have so much space, but just keep that in mind.

Did you maybe check any fractal design cases?

Intel i7 12700K | Gigabyte Z690 Gaming X DDR4 | Pure Loop 240mm | G.Skill 3200MHz 32GB CL14 | CM V850 G2 | RTX 3070 Phoenix | Lian Li O11 Air mini

Samsung EVO 960 M.2 250GB | Samsung EVO 860 PRO 512GB | 4x Be Quiet! Silent Wings 140mm fans

WD My Cloud 4TB

looks like a good build to me, for case i would suggest the Entho pro(one of my faves) or almost anything by Fractal design. just keep in mind that you will be needing radiator spaece when you pic your case and for the GPU i would go reither with the ASUS STRIX or the G1, im more of a fan of the G1 but the STRIX has RGB if you care about that

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
