First time android user help

not even sure if i put this problem in this category but whatever...

 

I just got the oneplus 3 and I've never used android before and when I started to put in contacts it asked where i wanted to sync the numbers to or something, I chose the sim card, and now I have saved just a few and it won't let me save any more, I'm really clueless as to what I need to do right now.

I assumed I would need to do that but I'm having trouble finding where to change it

You might have to go into each contact and select where it's stored.

Cool, I found out where to do that and it seems to be just fine.
