So I changed my air cooler and my 4670k (not OCed) CPU hits around 70-75c in R6 Siege. Max it hit was 80c. I know it's safe temps but I'm surprised because I got 2 front intakes, 2 bottoms ones and a top exhaust in a air 240, a crazy great airflow case. I didn't think switching from a h100i that I hit 65c max to a Phanteks LS would be that dramatic.

Well I have an H100i and I think the liquid really help & that the fan on that air cooler is crap. I say you should take a fan from your H100i and put it on the cooler.

I already have a Corsair SP120MM on it.

The fan on the LS is better than the ones on the h100i. The issue is that the LS is a small heatsink and not that much better than the stock cooler.

I noticed there is like some kind of play in the heat sink. Like nothing major but if I do push it with a bit of force, it does move ever so slightly, is this normal? Maybe there is something wrong with the cooler. I removed it and reinstalled it and change the thermal paste like 4 times.

A little bit of play is normal. Make sure to screw things down tightly every step along the way.

What were you expecting from switching to a liquid 240mm AIO to a small low profile heatsink? For the temps to stay the same? The h100i had a much bigger heat disspation area plus it was taking it away from the CPU so none of the heat was just lounging around that area :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

15c increase of temperature is not dramatic at all, it's pretty expected as you've halved the dissipation area not including other stuff :P
