Shared software on two PC

baloonis

Greetings.

When I create a network of two desktops by plugging them on one router through ethernet cables, do I need software like antivirus, text editors, etc on both PC's? Or is it enough if one PC has them installed?

Seek and you shall find.

yes you need them on both, having both plugged in to firewall doesn't protect both, only one that you have this software installed on. Not sure about routers firewalls if they are any reliable
